  • Should I repair my garage door or replace it?

    If the panels are sound and it's a spring, cable, or opener issue, a repair is usually the better value. If the door is rusted through, badly dented, or you're fixing something every few months, replacing it costs less over time. We'll tell you honestly which one you're looking at.

  • How long does a new garage door installation take?

    Most standard single and double door installations are completed in one visit. Custom sizes or openings that need framing work can take longer, and we'll tell you upfront if that's the case before you commit.

  • Do you charge for an estimate?

    No. Estimates are free, and we put the price in writing before any work begins. You won't get a bill that's higher than the number we quoted you.

  • Can I keep my existing opener with a new door?

    Often, yes. If your opener is in good condition and rated for the weight of the new door, we'll reconnect and test it. If it isn't a safe match, we'll explain why and give you the cost to replace it rather than leaving you to find out later.

  • What should I do if my garage door won't open?

    Don't force it — a door that's off track or has a broken spring can be dangerous to handle. Unplug the opener, keep everyone clear of it, and call us at (516) 849-5575. We take emergency calls 24 hours a day.
